Job Description :

Affinity Companies, the parent company of (Affinity Resources & IntellaPro) is a Staffing & Workforce Solutions organization based in South Florida. We are aggressively searching for several HR Specialists to join its rapidly expanding team. You have an option to work in our Fort Lauderdale or Miami Lakes offices.

The positions pay commensurate experience plus quarterly bonuses and excellent benefits. 

HR Support:

·        Coordinate and manage the pre-employment drug and background check screenings

·        Send out onboarding emails to new hires/rehires

·        Work closely with HR Generalist to resolve pre-employment screening questions

·        Audit new hire paperwork to ensure all documents are complete and free or errors (personnel file, I-9 IDs, benefit and payroll forms)

·        Process all employment verifications with-in three days to ensure compliance

·        Work with employees and the DHS for non-compliance issues

·        Oversee the new hire orientation for all new hires (in office and phone orientations)

·        Manage the benefits enrollment process for the office, and, follow-up accordingly

·        Create, maintain and update personnel files

·        Scan, File and update Payroll/HR documents

·        Update PTO Calendar

·        Complete online benefit enrollments

·        Initiate COBRA notifications through system

·        Correspond with internal and external clients including temporary employees using email and other formats

·        Work closely with our Recruitment, Sales and Accounting team members to ensure that all tasks are completed

·        Develop value added procedures for departmental improvements

·        Review Mail and Distribute

·        Set up employee work stations which includes being main point of contact with IT Department

·        Maintain office supply including order submissions and keeping office organized

·        Processes all hire and terms of contract employees in payroll system Review all New Hires with including but not limited to location and proper registration states etc…

·        Worker’s Compensation, including but not limited to data entry of and analysis of codes

·        Maintain, process, update and audit CRM/ATS Akken in regards to payroll

·        Communicate policies and procedures to personnel on payroll issues

·        Other responsibilities as assigned


Payroll Support:

·        Manage payroll and attendance payroll, distributing paychecks, (in-house and courier to other locations if needed)

·        Scrutinize and troubleshoot pre and post on cycle payroll audits

·        Time Sheet Collection both Manual and Electronic Data Input of Time Sheet Hours

Audit and Reconciles expense reports and submits for final approval to Accounting
